Our one-page website (at WritingCorner.com) allows you to list your books and any links you wish, including graphic images of your publications. Your website address would be something like: www.writingcorner.com/yourname.htm. 

WebPage options are specially coded and, once indexed, your website address will show up in search engines and mimic a full dot-com website presence.

Why is this special and important to you? When someone goes to a search engine, like at Yahoo.com, and types in Your Name, then presses the search button, the search results makes it appear that you have your own dot-com address.

We do not limit the content you wish to put on a WebPage option, or the number of links, but remember if it is graphic intensive (too many) your page will load very slowly. However, we have a few tricks up our sleeves to help you in that department to make your pictures load quickly too.

For those who have products that change monthly we offer you the ability to make 12 changes per year (one product change per month -- or grouped periodically) for only $150.00/year (more changes are negotiable).

Our design fees are included, for everything we offer at Writing Corner unless you ask for something larger than the one-page option. If you'd like multiple pages, we will work with you to develop a cost-effective yet unique solution.

THE FACTS - What is needed to own a website.

      DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION

You select your name, i.e. YOURNAME.COM  for your website. The name (if available) has to be registered. There is an annual fee for the domain registration service. Generally, this ANNUAL FEE is $35, but many services require a two-year sign on - most of the time Bizness Concepts can get you a one year sign-on.

      SITE HOSTING FEES

Your web site must be stored by a web host. This is how the world is able to go to your site. There are thousands of hosting providers and the ANNUAL FEE can vary from $10 to $100 per month (approximately $120 - $1200 per year). Some companies offer to both design and host your site. However, some of those companies are reluctant to allow you to switch services and can hold your site hostage even though you own the rights to your site. Usually it takes 3-7 days for all the electronic paperwork to be transferred from one host to another host. Bizness Concepts and Writing Corner offer reliable hosting, at a very reasonable price. Often, your web site fee is cheaper than hosting fees alone would be.

      DESIGN FEES

You should be careful to find out exactly what you are getting for your money. Many designers quickly create a "cookie cutter" site, which is very plain and generic or comes as one of the 25-30 packaged sites in a development program, then assess you additional charges to make the site meet your expectations. Some designers collect your money, create the "cookie cutter" site, and then forget about you and the various viewers coming to your site (Web TV, different browsers such as Netscape, MS Internet Explorer, etc.). Our design fees are included, for everything we offer at Writing Corner and from Bizness Concepts. If you decide to change designers or hosts, your site and all its content belong to you.

      WEB SITE DEVELOPER

Many large web development companies employ part-time college students, or other individuals with minimal experience, where the turnover rate is very high and skill levels vary. If that person leaves the developer company, your site may not be worked on again for a very long time, meanwhile people come to what exists of your site and are so disappointed they don't return. At Bizness Concepts, the staff has years of experience and a long roster of satisfied clients. It's a full-time company with one mission--excellent web design.

      WEB SITE OWNERSHIP

Your contract with the web site developer should clearly state to whom the web site ownership rights belong. And that person should be YOU. Our contracts are clear and easy to understand.  Don't assume your web developer will not hold your site hostage if you decide to change developers (they can held up the transfer of your domain name and site info for months, pull your site down and refuse to fix it, etc.)  Although most developers are honest and won't do this, too many people have had this happen to them which makes this warning a necessity whether you go with Bizness Concepts or someone else.

Bizness Concepts FEE SCHEDULE - FIRST YEAR
Note:  These fees include all developmental graphics for your website, including logo, backgrounds, and any other types of graphics you may need.  This is your cost for the first year - subsequent yearly fees are 1/2 of the first year fee.  The domain name and hosting fees must be paid yearly.  These are fixed fees based on what we are charged. All parts of the website belong to YOU. And, we won't create pages you don't need just to bump up the page count.  Our goal is to make you happy, to help your promote your sales and products, not to break your bank account.

Bizness Concepts FEE SCHEDULE - SUBSEQUENT YEARS

The yearly maintenance fee is required to make sure your site is always up and running (keeping an eye on your website - checking it weekly or more often), to add or change content and create new links when you want something changed, and to make sure search engines can always find you.

The benefit to you? A changing site that offers new links for your latest book, updates on contests or other promotions, and a look that will change as your needs do.
